Our Guided Tours are designed to offer a unique perspective of the Street Art designed and created by Urban Gypset (Sketch and Amanda).

We plan to have fully Guided Tours of Brixham Town and Harbour Area, and the surrounding Coastline and Wooded Areas that are full of a rich tapestry of colour and history.
These are an ever changing canvas, ideal for existing and new permanent Art and Pop Up Art installations.
Each Guide will personally work with Sketch and Amanda the Artists and Ian who has managed the Tour Project launch and concept; to ensure that they relay their vision directly to you and explain their amazing creations in exclusive and unique detail, never seen nor published before!

Our Tours will give detailed insights into the themes and stories behind the actual Art works that you are viewing. In some cases these are deeply personal recollections
Our unique “Brixham Mural Tour” Plaques, will give recognition and acknowledgement to local Business and individuals who have supported us so far, with the aim of increasing awareness and added foot-fall for them and any other Businesses that wish to join us.
Our Tours will be planned to both Start and Finish in accessible locations with access to Car Parking and at off-peak times to avoid excessive Traffic and high density footfall periods. This is to ensure the enjoyment of those on the Guided Tours and Businesses in and around Brixham.
Our MISSION Statement
Our ultimate goal is 4- fold
- To showcase the amazing Street Art of Sketch and Amanda at Urban Gypset and to highlight other excellent Art Works in and around the Town.
- To push and shout very proudly the narrative that Brixham is a Centre Of Excellence for all ART and ART FORMS.
- To focus our PASSION for Street Art with our PASSION to increase awareness for the local Community, the Tourist Industry and all of our Businesses, be they Retail, Hospitality , General Trades or Service provision. To back and support our Local Councils, Tourist Board, Development and other Public Bodies and to ally it with our Artistic experts and Private Sector Business Development experts in an exciting NEW FUSION.
- Finally, and very importantly. We believe that by “monetarising some Tours” that once we have covered the expenses of the Artists, whose work is very much sought after in the UK and Abroad, the Materials and Structures like Scaffolding, and other basic expenses like Travel / Accomodation etc, we can ring-fence a considerable proportion of income BACK INTO delivering NEW Community Art Works to augument the private Commissions that are the back bone that allows Urban Gypset to spend so much time and energy in Brixham. Tours for Residents of TQ 4 + TQ5 Areas will be FREE of Charge.
Small or Large Groups welcome!
We can offer a complete and flexible package of Tours to suit all scenarios.
We can offer bespoke Tours for small private Groups on request and for up to 12 people ideal for family ; friends ; small Groups , work friends etc.
Our Generic advertised Tours can cater for up to 20 people and tailored to varying seasons and weather conditions.
We will also build bespoke Tours for Coach and Travel Operators who will often visit Brixham for a 2-3 Hour period and we want to work with local Hospitality and Retail outlets to optimise this experience for our Day Guests and your Cafe / Restaurant / Pub / Gift Shop / Store etc.
We are very keen to work with local Education and Community Groups to build bespoke Tours around Local History and other core Curriculums including Art and Design and Media Studies etc.
